Our favourite green day we can now celebrate and for that reason, we have learnt and inquired all about this traditional Irish Fest. Rainbows, Rainbows everywhere!! Can you identify its seven colours and follow the sequence of them? A lot of Irish symbols are connected to this day… SHAMROCKS CLADDAGH RINGS GREEN HATS LEPRECHAUNS …AND POTS OF GOLD!! However, what if we connect Phonics with St. Patrick’s Day? Let’s Chasing Rainbows with 3, 4 and 5 years old!! HUNTING, FINDING, READING AND WRITING the rainbow-coloured Sounds… Words… …and Tricky Words to reach the pot of gold!! WHAT A FUN AND ENGAGING WAY TO PRACTISE RECOGNISING SOUNDS AND GRAPHEMES AND EVEN SPELLING WORDS AND TRICKY WORDS!!
