La creación de nuestro propio huerto ha desarrollado en los niños la motivación y necesidad de seguir indagando sobre las plantas.
Después de plantar nuestras flores, frutos y verduras han podido observar y explorar las distintas partes de las mismas y conocer las funciones que cada una realiza.
Furthermore, as our unit is about Nature and Life around us, taking advantage of our surroundings, we decided to go outside to identify parts of the plants with our own hands.
After that, we were explaining and organizing what we had found, and then we sorted, classified and labelled them.
Además la oportunidad de ir observando las diferentes etapas de crecimiento, les ha permitido conectar el ciclo de vida de las plantas con el del resto de los seres vivos, realizando su correspondiente mapa de flujo.
To end…and connecting the “The Melon Seed” story with the Life Cycle of a Plant, our curiosity made us want to witness the growing process with our own eyes.
